Juventus and Inter are reportedly battling for the signature of Xherdan Shaqiri, to wrap up the deal before Liverpool can hijack it.
The Swiss winger has been linked with a move to Serie A on a number of occasions, and appears certain to leave Bayern Munich in the near future.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus were in pole position for the signature of the 23-year-old, but Inter are now looking to overtake their rivals, offering a six-month loan, with €15m to be paid to make the deal permanent.
The newspaper reports that this has led Juventus to set up more meetings with Shaqiri’s representatives, as they look to prevent the Nerazzurri from snatching the player from their grasp.
Both clubs, however, are said to be looking to tie the deal up as soon as possible, as English Premier League side Liverpool are also thought to be interested, and would be able to outbid both Serie A sides.
