Milan midfielder Jose Mauri is reportedly close to a free transfer for Cruz Azul in Mexico in July.
The 22-year-old’s contract is due to expire at the end of this season and he has been on the periphery of the squad ever since his arrival as a free agent from Parma in the summer of 2015.
He spent the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Empoli, but managed a grand total of just 20 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri, for 881 minutes of football.
