Joao Mario confirms “I’m very glad I moved to Inter” and says Serie A is “very strong tactically”.
The midfielder moved to the Nerazzurri from Sporting in the summer for a fee of €40m, plus €5m in bonuses, and is back at Estádio José Alvalade on Portugal duty this week.
“I’m proud of what I did at Sporting,” Joao Mario said in a Press conference.

“I’m proud of what I did at Sporting,” Joao Mario said in a Press conference.
“Sporting are going their own way though and I’m focused on the national team. Of course there’s a bit of nostalgia now I’m here though.
“I don’t regret the choice I made, I’m very glad I moved to Inter. The Italian League is very strong tactically but it’s also very aggressive, there are a lot of clashes.
“The level in Italy is slightly higher than in the Portuguese League, I’m happy with what I’m doing at Inter.
“Part of my job is to do well with Inter so I can be here [with the national team].”
