Inter defender Juan Jesus has spoken about the early stages of his recovery from knee ligament damage.
The Brazilian suffered the injury during his side’s draw with Bologna a week and a half ago and will now miss the rest of the season.
“It’s the first time I have suffered an injury like this,” Jesus told the Inter Channel. “But I am calm about it because I am working to get back to my best.

“Lazaros’ foul? It was he who came in over the top while I was trying to kick the ball. I tried to run it off but I decided to leave the field in order not to make it worse.
“I won’t be having an operation because it’s only collateral damage, so it will be able to recover on its own.
“I need to keep it in a cast for a month, then we will see what happens after that.”
