Il Corriere dello Sport reports the local health authorities (ASL) picks the team during this national break, with players from Sassuolo, Fiorentina, Genoa, Inter, Lazio and Roma currently held back and departures from these teams are currently prohibited.
The report reveals Sassuolo could end the isolation on Tuesday and the three players – Manuel Locatelli, Domenico Berardi and Francesco Caputo – will then be able to join the national team, but there are 10 players currently blocked from taking part.
Inter can travel by private flights and Fiorentina could be unblocked too, meaning Cristiano Biraghi, Gaetano Castrovilli, Roberto Gagliardini, Nicolò Barella, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Matteo Darmian could arrive later.
The players called up from Lazio and Roma will most likely skip the current national break.
