Italy have been drawn into Euro 2024 qualifying Group C alongside England, Ukraine, North Macedonia and Malta.
The qualification for the next European Championships sees the 53 eligible nations drawn into seven groups of five teams and three of six. The four Nations League finalists – Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Croatia – are automatically entered into one of the five-team groups.
The top two from each of the 10 groups will qualify for the competition and the last three spots will be awarded to the winners of the Nations League play-offs. The qualifying stages of Euro 2024 will kick off on March 23 2023 and end on November 21.
The three spots awarded through the play-offs can be accessed by the 12 teams who won their respective Nations League groups and is a last resort for those who fail to secure qualification from their Euro 2024 qualifying groups.
