Inzaghi’s plan for Thuram at Inter

Marcus Thuram opened his accounts with both Inter and France in the last week and Simone Inzaghi has high hopes for the striker.

The 26-year-old Frenchman joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer in July after his contract drew to a close with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Thuram has already hit the ground running at Inter, scoring once and providing three assists in his first three Serie A outings, exciting supporters.

Page 14 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport notes how Inzaghi has already started planning how to get the best out of Thuram following their first two months together, believing that he’s the perfect partner for Lautaro Martinez up front.

The plan is to deploy the 26-year-old closer to goal, hoping he’ll form a strong relationship with his Argentine teammate, and he’ll also be tasked with improving his finishing.

Inter are confident Thuram will soon explode onto the scene and become a key figure in their squad for years to come.
