However, Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli insist Spurs aren’t the only Premier League side that Napoli and Milik’s agent will meet on Wednesday.
There should also be talks with Newcastle United, Fulham and Leeds United.
Vincenzo Morabito, one of the intermediaries working on the Milik transfer, also spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“There are some situations of interest in England, but he was promised a big Italian club with a salary worth €6m per year and things have changed.
“If Napoli continue to ask for €25m plus €5m in bonuses, then he is staying in Naples. In my view, his worth on the market is currently around €20m.
“The other issue is that, in his mind, Milik thinks he can earn €5m per season, but he’ll never get that kind of salary. In England, they’d be prepared to offer him €3.5m at most.
“The whole situation has been dealt with very badly.”
Milik’s contract with Napoli only runs to June 2021 and the club has threatened to leave him in the stands for the whole season unless he agrees a transfer after he refused to sign an extension.
