Inter to meet Brozovic next week amid PSG, Newcastle and Tottenham rumours

Inter will reportedly meet Marcelo Brozovic’s entourage next week, but the two parties are still nowhere close to reaching an agreement with PSG, Newcastle and Tottenham monitoring the situation.

Brozovic’s €3.5m-a-year deal expires at the end of the season.

Although Beppe Marotta has recently claimed that he is confident the Croat will soon sign a new contract with the Nerazzurri, multiple reports in Italy suggest the two parties haven’t reached an agreement yet.

According to FCInterNews and Tuttosport, Brozovic’s entourage will meet the Nerazzurri next week. Inter will negotiate with Brozovic’s father, Ivan and a family lawyer.

The Serie A champions offer the 28-year-old a new €5.5m-a-year deal, but Brozovic wants at least €6.5-7m.

PSG, Tottenham and Newcastle are keeping an eye on the Croatia international who could sign a pre-contract agreement with any club from January.

Last month, Fabio Paratici denied that Spurs are interested in securing his services, but with the appointment of Antonio Conte, Spurs are among the contenders to sign the Inter midfielder.

Inter have recently extended with Alessandro Bastoni, Lautaro Martinez and Nicolò Barella and their priority is to do the same with Brozovic, possibly by the end of the year.
