Inter are said to have officially submitted a bid for Bayern Munich’s Xherdan Shaqiri, which would include an initial loan move.
The Nerazzurri are in competition with Liverpool for the signature of the Swiss international, with the English side believed to have had a €15m offer accepted.
However, according to Sky, the Beneamata have now officially submitted a bid to the Bavarian side, with the total transfer fee to equal Liverpool’s offer.

However, according to Sky, the Beneamata have now officially submitted a bid to the Bavarian side, with the total transfer fee to equal Liverpool’s offer.
Sky believes that Inter’s bid will consist of an initial €2m for a six-month loan, with a forced redemption clause meaning the club will pay €12m in the summer, with an additional €1m due should Roberto Mancini’s side qualify for the Champions League.
Inter directors Marco Fassone and Piero Ausilio are believed to be ready to complete the deal in Germany should Bayern accept.
Sky states that Liverpool could still hijack any potential move by raising their offer, but Inter are now firmly in pole position for Shaqiri’s signature.
