Inter are “no longer pessimistic” about signing Yann Karamoh from Caen, confirmed the intermediary and Walter Sabatini.
“We are working on it, Inter are doing everything possible and obviously Caen are being tough, but Karamoh wants Inter and Inter want Karamoh,” Oscar Damiani told Sky Sport Italia.
“Tomorrow in the late morning we’ll know more, but the situation is still complicated. The clubs are negotiating.

“I am no longer pessimistic, but we have to get it done by 2pm under the new rules or it’ll become complicated.”
The Nerazzurri had announced to the media this evening that the deal was off and would not be pushed through.
However, that seems to have been a negotiating tactic to bring Caen back to the table.
“I am moderately optimistic,” added Suning chief Sabatini on Mediaset Premium. “He wants to come to Inter – he is a man of taste. The last night of the transfer market is the longest.”
The 19-year-old right-sided winger is only under contract with the French side until the end of the season, but Caen want €8m plus bonuses.
The plan appears to be getting Karamoh to sign a new contract to June 2019, that way Inter can take him on loan with obligation to buy.
Meanwhile, this evening Karamoh posted on Instagram the blue and black colours with a pair of hands praying.
“We know there are certain gaps to be filled, but nobody here said Inter would be fixed straight away. It’s a long-term project,” added Sabatini.
“Andrea Ranocchia is staying, without doubt. Gabigol is sought-after and must make his decisions.”
