Inter must raise Keita offfer

Inter have offered €22m (£19.6m) plus €3m in bonuses for Keita Balde Diao, claim Mediaset Premium, but it’s not enough for Lazio.

There were already reports today that Aquile President Claudio Lotito had vetoed a move to Juventus, which had been Keita’s preferred option.

Lotito was only prepared to listen to proposals from Inter, but this evening Mediaset Premium claimed the first bid of €22m plus €3m in bonuses was insufficient.

According to Sportitalia, Keita has refused options from abroad – specifically Liverpool and Monaco – because he wants to remain in Serie A.
