Matteo Moretto reports that talks between Inter and Anthony Martial’s agents haven’t begun as the Nerazzurri must work out situations of other strikers, including Alexis Sanchez, Marko Arnautovic, Joaquin Correa and Valentin Carboni.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Sunday that Inter were following Manchester United flop Martial ahead of a possible free transfer over the summer.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto shared an update on the situation through Caught Offside’s Daily Briefing, saying that the Nerazzurri haven’t yet taken concrete steps to sign Martial or any other striker.

Moretto claims that before making a new signing in attack, Inter must determine the future of other strikers contracted with the club.

Among them are Alexis Sanchez, whose deal expires in June, Marko Arnautovic, Correa, and Carboni.

The Argentinean strikers are currently out on loan at Marseille and Monza, respectively.

Correa, 29, hasn’t scored or assisted in 16 appearances with the Ligue 1 side, while Carboni, 19, has two goals and four assists in 25 appearances across all competitions with Monza.
