Inter lock angry fans out of Dynamo Kiev friendly

Inter have announced their friendly against Dynamo Kiev will be played behind closed doors, with fans accusing them of being ‘scared’ of protests against club owners Suning.

The match will be played at the U-Power Stadium in Monza on Saturday at 18.30 local time.

It will be transmitted live on Sky Sport Italia, but no supporters will be allowed into the arena.

No reason has been given, but considering their game against Parma was disrupted by fans constantly chanting against President Steven Zhang, owners Suning and Chelsea-bound striker Romelu Lukaku, it’s not entirely surprising.

Some even waved Euro bills in the air, making fun of the club’s liquidity issues.

The responses to their announcement on social media reflected as much, with numerous messages pointing out they are ‘scared’ of their own supporters.

Others assured the banners will find their way to the event anyway and ‘there’s no escaping’ the protest during the Serie A season opener next week.
