“We worked hard all summer to ensure we were in good shape for the first match. Now we’ve put in this strong performance and got the three points, so we must continue like this, as it is only the start,” Insigne told DAZN.
“We have to keep our feet on the ground and keep pushing, because we gave our souls last season and it still wasn’t enough. This time we have to whittle down those errors and do even better.
“This is pretty much the same squad as last year, but with a few new faces.”
There is one very big difference and that is Carlo Ancelotti on the bench rather than Maurizio Sarri.
“Ancelotti brought his ideas and we have to follow him, because he won so much in his career. We can do well in Serie A and in Europe. My dream is to win the Scudetto, but it’s still too early to talk about that.”
