Italy international Meret suffered an injury during the first half of Juventus-Napoli on Saturday, forcing Antonio Conte to introduce second-choice keeper Caprile.
A former Empoli loanee and Leeds U21 player, Caprile made his senior debut with the Partenopei. Last season he conceded 29 goals in 24 appearances with Empoli.

Meret has made 183 appearances with Napoli. He moved to the Stadio Maradona i 2018 from SPAL. He was part of the team that won a legendary Serie A title in 2022-23 under Luciano Spalletti.
Juventus have earned eight points in four Serie A games this season, one fewer than Napoli.
