Ciro Immobile has admitted that he feels good at Torino, and hopes to play his way into Italy’s World Cup squad.

The Toro striker has netted 21 League goals so far this term, and has been given the Giuseppe Prisco Award at a ceremony this morning.

Reports in the Italian Press have consistently linked the 24-year-old with a move to Borussia Dortmund, but the goalscorer has insisted that he is only concentrating on doing well for his current side and getting on the plane to Brazil.

“I’m delighted to have won the match [against Udinese on Sunday] and get to 21 goals,” he told reporters.

“We’re happy that the fans are happy. And we’re enjoying this moment, because we know that these next three games could be special for the club.

“Personally, I just want to think about the present, not the future. I hope to do my best on the pitch, and then go to the World Cup. It’s up to Prandelli though.

“Cerci and I at the World Cup? We certainly hope so. It was would be a great satisfaction for me and for Torino if both of us went to Brazil.”
