Inter captain Mauro Icardi says the Scudetto “won’t be decided against Napoli”, and will go down to the wire.
The Nerazzurri take on Maurizio Sarri’s side in the big Monday night fixture, and go into the clash two points clear of the Partenopei at the top of Serie A.
“The Scudetto? It won’t be decided against Napoli,” Icardi told Mediaset.
“It’ll be decided in May when the season ends.”

Last season’s Capocannoniere has just four goals so far this season, but the Argentinian insists he’s not concerned.
“I don’t remember how many goals I had at this time last year. In time there was an understanding and I started to score consistently.
“I hope it’ll be the same this season.
“Stevan Jovetic? It’s not easy to find the right way to play at times, and Stevan has the qualities necessary to play up-front on his own too.
“We have to play together, to enhance the understanding between us.
“Against Roma I wasn’t in the starting line-up, but to play any part in these great occasions offers huge emotions.
“I don’t know that I felt uncomfortable, but in these games you always give a little bit extra. I felt a bit bad though.”
Finally, the former Sampdoria striker assured Beneamata fans he’s not going anywhere, despite links to Arsenal.
“England?” Icardi considered.
“There’s always a lot of talk, but I’ll stay here, as I said last year. I’m also the captain, and I can’t leave a team that’s doing so well.”
