Inter striker Mauro Icardi says he wants to remain at the club for a long time despite a tough first year at San Siro.
The Argentine also believes he is gradually overcoming problems with his groin that kept him out earlier in the season.
“This year has been tough for me,” Icardi said to Sky Sport. “My groin still gives me some discomfort but with the help of pain-killers things are improving every day.

“I have now trained for a month and a half with the team without having had any problems.
“The Inter number nine shirt is a weight on my shoulders but I want to stay here at Inter for a long time.
“I am improving a lot working with Mazzarri and have learned how to deal with criticism.”
