Milan owner Gerry Cardinale is due to attend Milan’s upcoming Serie A match against Roma in San Siro, as is senior advisor and former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

This will be the first time that both Cardinale and Ibrahimovic have watched Milan together from the stands since the Swede’s appointment to his new advisory role at the end of 2023.

Ibrahimovic has been to watch Milan since then, attending Milan’s 2-2 draw away at Salernitana on December 22, but Cardinale has been unable to attend in recent weeks.

Cardinale has been described as a man for the big occasions. This season, he has been in town to watch the 4-1 season opener against Torino as well as the 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stage.

Cardinale was also in attendance for the 3-1 loss against Borussia Dortmund at the end of November.

The RedBird CEO’s trip to Milan has been booked in for quite a while according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport

The Pink Paper outlined that Cardinale is not in Milan to decide upon Stefano Pioli’s future. He is there, instead, to show a sign of unity and togetherness alongside Ibrahimovic.
