Ibra ‘closer to Galaxy stay’

Zlatan Ibrahimovic seems closer than ever to staying at LA Galaxy as it reported the striker will not return to Europe for Bologna.

Bologna have been busy trying to convince Ibrahimovic to sign for them in January, given his Galaxy contract is about to expire.

However, Tuttomercatoweb warns the 38-year-old is holding out for a bigger European club than the Rossoblu.

That may not suffice as Milan have yet to make a formal move, links with Napoli have cooled and Manchester United look to have pulled out of the running.

With that in mind, TMW explains the best offer right now is being tabled by his current club, who are proposing a combined €14m for two more years.

Zlatan joined the Galaxy from United in March 2018 and has been prolific for the MLS side, scoring 53 goals in just 58 games.
