Beppe Iachini admits Sassuolo have ‘regressed’ and says his side ‘have to improve quickly.’
The Neroverdi suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Lazio this afternoon, a result which leaves them just three points clear of the relegation places.
“There has been a regression, especially in terms of our results,” Iachini, whose side have now failed to win in their last eight matches, said during a post-match interview.

“There has been a regression, especially in terms of our results,” Iachini, whose side have now failed to win in their last eight matches, said during a post-match interview.
“Today’s match was decided by an own goal from a shot outside the area and the penalty incident.”
A key factor in Sassuolo’s slump has been their inability to score goals, with the Neroverdi now having found the net just once in five matches.
“Unfortunately we are creating chances, but we aren’t managing to be decisive in front of goal.
“This has meant that we have been missing out on points in recent weeks. It’s clear that we have to improve quickly and we have to insist on that.”
