Beppe Iachini was impressed by Sassuolo spirit in their comeback to draw with Roma and saluted Paolo Cannavaro on his retirement.
The Neroverdi came back from Lorenzo Pellegrini’s goal to draw level at the Stadio Olimpico with Simone Missiroli 12 minutes from time.
“We’ve got to improve in terms of possession, but there was great spirit and without that you won’t get a result,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.

“It doesn’t matter what system you use if you don’t have a positive attitude.”
This was the final game for Paolo Cannavaro, who is hanging up his boots to join the coaching staff of brother Fabio at Guangzhou Evergrande.
“He’s a great lad and a wonderful professional. I’m sorry he made this decision, but I am happy his final match coincided with a good team performance.
“I am sure that Sassuolo will keep him in their heart.”
