The Blues released a statement on their official website, confirming that the 19-year-old has tested positive for the Coronavirus, meaning that the whole squad is in quarantine.

“Chelsea men’s team player Callum Hudson-Odoi had a positive test result for Coronavirus returned this evening,” the club wrote in a statement. “Chelsea personnel who had recent close contact with the players in the men’s team building will now self-isolate in line with Government health guidelines.
“These will include initially the full men’s team squad, coaching staff and a number of backroom staff.”
The FA has decided to continue the campaign last night, even with open doors for spectators to attend the Premier League matches, but they will meet again today.
Reports claim that an urgent meeting will be held today after the first two case makes it difficult to continue the competition regularly.
Serie A has also been affected by the highly infectious Coronavirus, with confirmed cases for both Juventus defender Daniele Rugani and Sampdoria forward Manolo Gabbiadini.
