However, the agent, who has close links to La Liga, has insisted that the goalscorer won’t leave the Partenopei for the Blaugrana.
“It’s rubbish,” he told Il Mattino. “I don’t believe anyone who says that he’ll leave.
“As far as I’m aware, Barcelona will never take Higuain. That’s the end of it.
“I know Barcelona, I know what they’re looking for.
“I repeat – it’s a nonsense. This deal isn’t happening.”
