Gonzalo Higuain said Juventus are helping him to “grow every day,” including Champions League experience against Lyon.
It kicks off tomorrow at 19.45 GMT, following on from Juan Cuadrado’s goal for a 1-0 victory in France two weeks ago.
“I always work for the team. If I score a goal, that’s better, but I play primarily to help the team achieve victory. We can go all the way in this competition,” said Higuain in his Press conference.

“I play well alongside Mario Mandzukic, even though we haven’t played together very much. There’s a whole season ahead of us. I am in a new team and trying to improve myself.
“According to you in the media, I was in ‘crisis’ up until Saturday because I hadn’t scored for four games, yet now I’m considered to be fine.
“The Champions League is wonderful and tomorrow we have the chance to play an important game that could put us into the next round. We’re doing well so far this season and can only get stronger.
“We are fully aware of how important this match is, as if we win, we can top the group. We work all week to improve and I am happy to be here, as every day I feel like I’m growing.
“We expect Lyon to be physical and aggressive. We ended up a man down in Lyon, so our approach has to be very focused.”
On Saturday Pipita scored against his former Napoli teammates and refused to celebrate.
“It was a special game, as I was there for three years. Fortunately we won, but it ends there. I am happy for the victory and how the team played, but now our minds are on Lyon.”
