Within 90 seconds, the pair had combined to break the deadlock, even though the Spaniard had to wait for VAR to confirm it was not offside.
Bernardeschi also created the second goal for Chiesa, as Ivan Provedel’s first save was not enough, before Ronaldo went clear on Rodrigo Bentancur’s pass for his 20th Serie A goal of the season.
