The Nerazzurri face the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich in the coming weeks, but the Slovenian international is happy to face top tier opposition.
“Honestly, I always prefer to play against real and strong opponents,” Handanovic explained to Inter Channel.
“In short, against the best teams so you can measure yourself against them and improve.

“I think it’s a shame not to have all the players available but that happens to every team. We hope to soon be as complete as possible.
“It’s never easy to restart, but once you get used to working everything is normal again.”
