It is only a matter of time before Marek Hamsik signs a new contract at Napoli, the player’s agent has confirmed.

It is only a matter of time before Marek Hamsik signs a new contract at Napoli, the player’s agent has confirmed.
The 24-year-old is presently tied to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until June 2015, but it is expected that he’ll soon be presented with a new improved deal which will run until 2016.
“The possibility that Marek will continue his career in the Azzurri jersey is very real,” representative Juraj Venglos told Radio CRC.
“The desire of my client is to carry on with his adventure at Napoli and he’ll soon put pen to paper on a contract extension.”
Hamsik has been paired with a number of Europe’s top clubs, but Venglos insists that the attacking midfielder has faith in the ability of his present team.
“Last night’s win was fantastic,” the agent stated after the Azzurri secured a place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a win at Villarreal.
“I think that Napoli could fight for a semi-final spot in the Champions League, I do think that there is this possibility.
“Obviously a lot will depend on who Napoli get in the draw, but Marek believes in the potential of this squad.”
Hamsik got Napoli’s second goal on Wednesday night, 12 minutes after Gokhan Inler had given the Italian side a crucial lead.
The attacking midfielder, linked with Milan last summer, joined Napoli in 2007 after a €5.5m fee was agreed with Brescia.
