“Villarreal are a difficult opponent who we’ve already played four times,” Hamsik wrote.

“They’re among the top teams in Spain, the proof is that they’re in fourth place in the table, just behind giants like Barça [Barcelona], Real [Madrid] and Atletico [Madrid].
“They’re very strong at home. We want to get a result which will take us a step closer to the next round.”
