Achraf Hakimi says he will carry Inter in his heart forever: ‘I lived unforgettable moments.’
The 22-year-old has completed a permanent €71m move to PSG.
He had joined Inter for €40m from Real Madrid in 2020.
The former Madrid and Borussia Dortmund star has signed a contract with PSG until June 2026 and the Ligue 1 giants announced his signing on Tuesday afternoon.
Hakimi shared a message for Inter fans through his official Instagram account after PSG’s announcement.
“It was a tough year, but what a year it was,” Hakimi wrote.
“I couldn’t imagine what it meant to wear the Inter shirt, it was an honour to wear those colours.
“It was a difficult season, but I lived unforgettable moments, writing history with all of you.
“I want to thank the staff members, the fans and the teammates for their affection, professionalism and respect. I also thank my family for their unconditioned support.
“I carry Inter in my heart, a big hug to everybody and Forza Inter.”
scored seven goals and delivered 11 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions at a club level in 2020-21.
Italy goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma will soon join the Morocco international in Paris, having agreed on a €12m-a-year deal at the Parc des Princes.
The Ligue 1 giants are also going to announce the signing of Sergio Ramos who will move to Paris as a free agent after the end of his contract with Real Madrid.
