Udinese coach Luca Gotti insists Torino are better than their position in Serie A and expects a ‘tough game’: “We know they are a good team.”
The Friuli currently sit 14th in Serie A, tied on points with the Granata, and were on a run of four consecutive draws ahead of the interruption.
Torino resumed last week in a 1-1 draw against Parma and Gotti wants to see Udinese to give them a hard time at the Grande Torino.

“The expectations are to do the best we can, and the assumptions are there. I think the lads have worked well, then we must obviously translate that onto the pitch,” he told Udinese TV.
“We know that Torino are a good team, with a squad that probably don’t reflect their current position in the table.
“I expect a tough game, which I hope is different from Torino-Parma because of us.”
But William Troost-Ekong, Rodrigo De Paul, Ken Sema and Ilija Nestorovski are all one yellow card away from suspension ahead of tonight’s game.
“It’s obvious that this is something I have to consider, but will not weigh on this match,” he told. “It’s an aspect that may affect the long-term, along with other factors such as injuries or fatigue.”
