“All games are important, this one is for us. Let’s not forget we are the reigning Coppa Italia holders,” Giuntoli told RAI Sport.

“We want to make a good impression and go through to the semi-final.”

President Aurelio De Laurentiis met with the team, staff and coach last night, then released a statement confirming his ‘full confidence’ in Gattuso.

“We were pleased to have the President was with us and we are all very happy with what he said about Gattuso.”

Does that mean the unity has been rediscovered at Napoli?

“We never lost it.”
