Sebastian Giovinco has reportedly left Toronto FC’s preseason camp to complete a move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.
According to The Athletic, Giovinco has returned to Toronto from the Canadian club’s retreat in California ahead of the 2019 season.
The website also cites an unnamed source confirming an earlier report that a transfer to Saudi Arabia was ‘in the works’, although it stresses a deal ‘has not yet been completed’.

Giovinco celebrated his 32nd birthday at the weekend and joined Toronto FC in February 2015 from Juventus.
He has gone on to score 83 goals with 51 assists in 142 competitive games for the Reds, winning the MLS Cup two years ago.
