“The clubs will certainly not wait until May to discuss his future, especially as there is a lot of interest in him,” Pasqualin told Tutto Juve.
“I think that the ideal time and the most probable will be to make a decision towards the end of next month.”
Parma signed a 50 per cent share in the Juventus youth product last summer for a fee of just €3.5m. They now value their part in the player at around the €10m.
If Juventus and Parma can’t agree a deal over the player’s full ownership then there is the possibility that his future could be decided by a blind auction.
Giovinco has scored seven goals in 15 Serie A appearances for a club who this week replaced boss Franco Colomba with Roberto Donadoni.
