Juventus and Parma will start to discuss the future of Sebastian Giovinco at some stage in February.

That is according to Claudio Pasqualin, one of the agents who represents the pint-sized Italian international.

The attacker is part-owned by both clubs, but reports yesterday suggested that Juve want to take him back to Turin next season.

“The clubs will certainly not wait until May to discuss his future, especially as there is a lot of interest in him,” Pasqualin told Tutto Juve.

“I think that the ideal time and the most probable will be to make a decision towards the end of next month.”

Parma signed a 50 per cent share in the Juventus youth product last summer for a fee of just €3.5m. They now value their part in the player at around the €10m.

If Juventus and Parma can’t agree a deal over the player’s full ownership then there is the possibility that his future could be decided by a blind auction.

Giovinco has scored seven goals in 15 Serie A appearances for a club who this week replaced boss Franco Colomba with Roberto Donadoni.
