Ex-Milan, Fiorentina and Italy striker Alberto Gilardino could make his breakthrough in management at Serie C side Monopoli.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the 36-year-old could replace Giuseppe Scienza after he left the Apulian club by mutual consent.
Monopoli finished eighth in Serie C Group C last season, before suffering elimination in the playoff first round to Reggina.
