Marco Giampaolo describes Europa League qualification as ‘a huge target’ for Sampdoria but doesn’t know what his own future holds.
The Blucerchiati boss is nearing the end of his second season in charge at Marassi, with his side sitting just three points off sixth-placed Milan.
“My priority is Samp. Before anything else, I want to reach a huge target with this team,” Giampaolo told reporters at a Press conference.
“Then, I will speak about the future with the President.”

Samp travel to face Champions League-chasing Lazio this afternoon on the back of a midweek win over Bologna.
“The win against Bologna keeps us firmly on course. Without those three points, we would be further away from the part of the table that matters.
“Samp have never given up and we don’t intend to do that until the end.
“Lazio are a strong team with powerful players who have quality.”
