Giaccherini: ‘I need to play’

Napoli’s Emanuele Giaccherini believes Chievo will be a difficult opponent and wants to play more regularly.

The 31-year-old suffered a minor muscle injury at the start of the season but has been unable to claim a place in Maurizio Sarri’s starting 11 since returning to fitness.

“We need to put the problems against Genoa behind us,” Giaccherini told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli when asked about the Partenopei’s goalless draw in midweek.
