The agent of Emanuele Giaccherini is confident that his client will have a future at Juventus – and possibly the Italian national side too.

The midfielder joined the Old Lady in the summer from Cesena in a co-ownership deal, but it’s unclear what will happen in the summer.

“There is no news on that and I haven’t spoken to the club officials about it,” agent Furio Valcareggi told Tutto Juve.

“However, things are going well and for that reason I do believe that Giaccherini’s future will be with Juventus.”

The 26-year-old has mainly been used as a squad player by Antonio Conte this term, but his form has been sufficiently good enough to see him talked about as a possible future international.

“To play well for Juventus is already a great result,” the representative continued. “If you perform for a club like Juve then it is more than probable that you have Azzurri ambitions too.

“The bar for a place in the Italian national squad is very high though, but it doesn’t cost anything to dream. And sometimes dreams come true.”

Giaccherini has never been called up to the Italian national squad and wasn’t included in the party for Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to America.
