Gervinho has been left out of the Parma squad after trying to force through a move to Al-Sadd on transfer deadline day.
The forward had decided to not turn up to training for three days in a row and in the end signed the paperwork to complete a €5m transfer to the Qatar Super League in January.
But Al-Sadd didn’t meet the deadline and couldn’t register the Ivorian in time, meaning that Gervinho has to stay at the Ennio Tardini.

Now, the former Roma star has been punished by the club, who has left him out of their squad “until further notice”.
“Parma Calcio 1913 announce that the player Gervinho, following repeated unjustified absence from training last week, will carry out an individual training program until further notice, under the orders of the technical staff.”
Gervinho arrived from Hebei China Fortuna on a free transfer in August 2018 and the 32-year-old has played 47 league games, contributing 15 goals for the Ducali.
