Rudi Garcia was impressed with Roma’s “mental strength” after a fightback to beat Aris in Greece.
The Giallorossi had been trailing 1-0 to Aris Thessaloniki last night, but Nicolas Andre Burdisso and Michael Bradley turned it around for a 2-1 friendly victory.
“Aris are a good side with players of great quality, which is why we knew it would be an interesting game for us to play,” said Coach Garcia.
“We had many opportunities and played the ball well, but also went behind. It was a good reaction from the side.
“Being able to fight back and win a game away from home is symptomatic of an interesting mental strength in your team.”
