Roma CEO Umberto Gandini admits “starting with Atletico Madrid is a tough obstacle” ahead of tonight’s Champions League match.
The Giallorossi welcome the Spanish side to the Stadio Olimpico tonight, and the director spoke to Tuttomercatoweb before the traditional lunch meeting of their respective clubs.
“They’re all important and decisive matches,” Gandini said.
“Certainly starting with Atletico is a tough obstacle. It’s a difficult, balanced group so starting well is crucial.

“Certainly starting with Atletico is a tough obstacle. It’s a difficult, balanced group so starting well is crucial.
“It will also depend on the results the other teams get, there are three teams who can all take points off each other [Chelsea, Roma, and Atleti].
“It’s assumed that Qarabag will be the weakest team, but we’ll see.
“Francesco Totti? He’s getting on well in his new role, we’re happy. He’s got everything to do well.”
