Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani insists he has yet to make Santos an offer for Paulo Henrique Ganso.
The 21-year-old Brazil international playmaker is widely regarded as one of the world's brightest talents.
Earlier today he told Sky Italia that his future lies in Italy either with Inter or Milan.
Asked for a reaction to Ganso's comments, Galliani was very diplomatic.
"The President of Santos is right. We'll talk about this if and when we make an official offer.

"There is no sense discussing it right now."
Galliani swiftly turned his attention to the title race.
Milan drew 2-2 in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final against Palermo on Wednesday night.
