Adriano Galliani will go on a lengthy pre-match training retreat with Milan after today’s meeting with Clarence Seedorf.

Media reports went into overdrive when the Coach left a training session for an encounter with CEO Galliani at the club headquarters, something many called an emergency summit.

It lasted around 90 minutes and neither man spoke to journalists when leaving the club offices.

It’s reported that the meeting essentially backed Seedorf for the next two games, as Milan play Lazio on Sunday evening and then visit Fiorentina in the midweek round.

The team will go into a pre-match training retreat to best prepare for both Serie A matches.

The big change is that Galliani will join the squad and Coach Seedorf during this retreat, staying with the players 24 hours a day.

There are still reports the tactician could be sacked if he loses those games, having already suffered four consecutive defeats between Serie A and Champions League.

Assistant manager Mauro Tassotti would take over for the rest of the season with current Primavera Coach Pippo Inzaghi the favourite for the main job next term.
