Adriano Galliani is won over by new Milan Coach Pippo Inzaghi, whose “enthusiasm is contagious.”
The tactician was appointed this week after Clarence Seedorf was sacked, reportedly via email, and has been in a series of meetings with the club chiefs.
“I’ve been with Pippo constantly over the last few days. He is working like a madman and his enthusiasm is contagious,” CEO Galliani told TuttoMercatoWeb.
“There is a month to go before the start of the transfer market proper, so we will try to give the Coach the most competitive squad possible.”
When asked whether Ricky Kaka will be a part of that side, Galliani hesitated.
“I haven’t heard from Kaka recently.”
The CEO did instead focus on the World Cup, as Italy prepare to face England on Saturday night.
“The three full-backs at the Nazionale – Ignazio Abate, Mattia De Sciglio and Matteo Darmian – all come from the Milan youth academy.
“That is a source of immense pride and satisfaction for us. We always work so that many young players can come through the ranks to the senior squad and then the national team.”
Although Abate and De Sciglio continue to play for the Rossoneri, Darmian was sold and found fame at Torino.
