Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has confirmed that Coach Massimiliano Allegri has the club's full support.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has confirmed that Coach Massimiliano Allegri has the club's full support.

The Rossoneri have struggled so far this season, claiming just 14 points from 11 Serie A games, but the 68-year-old CEO has admitted that the former Cagliari man will remain in his post for the foreseeable future.

“We have always defended Allegri,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “Even in the most difficult of times. The Coach has our full support.

“I do not see why we have to talk about his future. Allegri has another year on his contract, and has the desire to stay.”

He also commented on the Champions League match against Malaga on Tuesday.

“The match with Malaga will be an important one for us,” he said. “Important, but not decisive.”
