Sampdoria captain Daniele Gastaldello is sure Sampdoria can replace Manolo Gabbiadini if the forward moves to Napoli.
The 23-year-old is widely expected to complete a transfer to the Partenopei in January, with reports tonight indicating that the striker has agreed personal terms with the club.
Speaking after his side’s 2-0 Coppa Italia win over Brescia – in which Gabbiadini scored – the Blucerchiati captain wasn’t too concerned by the prospective departure.

“Gabbiadini to Napoli? We’ll see what the club does,” Gastaldello told RAI Sport.
“I’m sure that if someone leaves, then someone of equal value will come in.”
Turning his attention to the match, the Samp stopper revealed that he dreams of making the final of the Cup.
“It’s a big victory, because we care about this competition,” Gastaldello insisted.
“We want to go as far as we can.
“I’ve already played in a final wearing this shirt, I hope we can make it to another one.”
