Frosinone President Maurizio Stirpe praises a “historic point” after last night’s draw with Juventus.
The Canarini picked up their first-ever Serie A point with a last-minute goal in Turin, scored by Bianconeri supporter Leonardo Blanchard.
“Above all I’m happy, because up to this point we’ve got less than we deserved,” Stirpe told Tuttomercatoweb.
“The point came on an unexpected occasion, a historic point against a historic team in the most beautiful stadium in Italy.

“The point came on an unexpected occasion, a historic point against a historic team in the most beautiful stadium in Italy.
“I was under no illusions but I saw the performance in the last 20 or 25 minutes of the first half. Having gone in at 0-0 at half-time, there was a faint hope we could do it.
“When you get the point in that manner, one so unexpected and unpredictable it’s an incredible joy. What happened is an example of the beauty and unpredictability of football.”
Frosinone have had a difficult start to the season, but Stirpe insists he was never worried.
“I was never worried. In regard to the transfer market, we’re convinced we couldn’t have done better. Maybe I wasn’t expecting such a hard start, I was hoping to maybe get a bit more.
“But it’s all part of the process of growth and learning.”
