Sergio Floccari says he has rejected the opportunity to leave Coppa Italia winners Lazio this summer.

Although the player is not assured of first team football in Rome, the 31-year-old has committed his future to the Biancocelesti.

“A number of offers have been made for me, but I’ve turned them all down,” the former Genoa and Parma forward told Style Radio.

“I like the Lazio project and I won’t be leaving here. As soon as the transfer market closes, I’ll discuss a contract renewal with the club.”

Floccari scored five goals in 22 League games for the capital outfit last season. Lazio signed him from Genoa in January 2010.

His current contract is set to expire in June 2014.
