Fiorentina make first Parisi offer

Fiorentina are the new favourites for Italy Under-21 international Fabiano Parisi, ready to beat Juventus and Lazio with an offer worth €10m plus bonuses for the Empoli left-back.

The 22-year-old impressed both in Serie A last season and when playing for Italy at the Under-21 European Championship.

Lazio and especially Juventus had shown interest, but it is the Viola who are stepping forward with the first genuine offer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the opening bid is in the region of €10m plus performance-related bonuses.

Fiorentina had a meeting with Empoli today and discussed the basic figures of the proposal.

Parisi is a product of the Benevento youth academy and moved to Empoli from Avellino in the summer of 2020 for just €450,000.

He now has 58 Serie A appearances under his belt, in which he scored two goals and provided three assists.

His current contract with Empoli runs to June 2025, having signed an extension with improved salary in 2022.
